Virus Scans

To avoid problems with client updates, all Onyx programs of each release are registered on the whitelist of several virus scanner software manufacturers:

Kaspersky
Symantec/Norton
Avast
F-SECURE
McAfee
AVG

Nevertheless, a certain time gap between releasing an OnyxCeph³™ update and publishing the related whitelist by the manufacturere can not be completely avoided. Also, the whitelist will only take effect if the user is running the latest version of the virus scanner program on the client computer.
