In standard operation mode, Onyx database server program OnyDBServer.exe should run as Windows™ service. The service can be launched and configured either by the Windows™ control panel or (recommended) in program window Onyx3Config by button [Start Server as Program].

If Onyx database server program settings OnyDBServer.exe should be modified, the program has to be launched as application by button [Start Server as Program ] and then opened from the task bar system tray icon.
