As of Release 3.2.169 (456), an additional option for virtual construction of round wire retainers is provided in the Retainer 3D module. The workflow is nearly identical to that for constructing profile retainers. This also applies to the use of measurement functions and contact surfaces.
New is the possibility to export this design directly to the bending machine Bender of YOAT via the menu item [Export] in order to have the retainer manufactured with it.
Due to the physical limitation in terms of feed and bending radius, the manufactured design may deviate minimally from the planned one. This difference is visualized in the export process so that the virtual design can still be adjusted if necessary.

To use the interface, an interface file must be present in the local Onyx3Client program directory. This file is not part of installation or updates, but must be downloaded manually and copied to the target directory. If needed, request here an appropriate download link.
