Important Note

The Aligner module provides software tools for the simulation of virtual tooth movement sequences based on image or scan data. The user must ensure that the source data and the manipulations and calculations performed on it are suitable for the intended purpose. The manufacturer’s intended medical use of the software is limited exclusively to the digital measurement of patient images in the Digitize module, and clinical decisions must not be based on the analysis results provided by the software. The classification as a medical device cannot be transferred to treatment measures or the manufacture of orthodontic appliances, even if these take into account the calculation results of the software.
The functions in this module are not intended for the medical purpose of verifying diagnostic assessments as specified by the software manufacturer. Rather, the purpose of the module is to provide functions for digitizing analogue work steps in connection with documentation, patient education and the processing of custom-made products.
